1. I will take a look at this tomorrow

2.You can do that using the Color in the LineRenderer, and setting the right colors at the right distances

3. spline[segmentIndex].Length

To modifiy the length, modify the position of the CP ending that segment
Please consider leaving a review for Curvy. This will help a lot keeping Curvy relevant in the eyes of the Asset Store algorithm.
