To elaborate on this, I found a re-creatable case:
1. make a generator with a path and extrusion.
2. deactivate the root gameobject
3. run the scene
4. activate the root gameobject, select something in this root (shape extrusion for example)
5. stop the scene
The shape extrusion will be deleted from the generator with the error:
