game breaking bug when activating any generator on iOS

tested with own project and Curvy Examples 50_EndlessRunner
Does replacing the file at Packages\Curvy\link.xml with the one in the attached zip file fixs the bug?
If not, I have some questions to help me debug:
1- Can you describe the steps to reproduce the bug in the 50_EndlessRunner scene?
2- On which Unity version did you encounter the bug?
3- Are you aware of other Unity versions where the bug is reproducible? and where the bug is not reproducible?
4- Are you aware of platforms other than IOS where the bug is reproducible? and where the bug is not reproducible?
4- Are you aware of Curvy version other than 2.2.0 where the bug is not reproducible? and where the bug is not reproducible?
