Connecting Multiple Spline Nodes Issue

I’m working with several splines and want to connect multiple root nodes so users can branch into different paths from the same starting point. I can connect two spline nodes successfully, but once they’re connected, the “Connect Spline” option becomes disabled when I select a node from the existing connection together with a third, unconnected node. I also can’t seem to attach the third spline to either of the already connected splines. Is this an intentional limitation of the script, or is there a specific setting or workflow I’m missing?

I couldn't reproduce the issue you describe. In the video bellow is how you can connect three splines.
