How can I set the generator to stop updating?

I want to manually edit some objects generated by the generator, but the generator keep changing them back to the original.
How can I set the generator to stop updating after I manually edit some objects in it?

The generators re-configures the objects it generated at every update, overwriting any changes you did in between updates.

You can stop the generators from automatically updating by setting their Auto Refresh setting to false, and then updating them when needed using the generator's toolbar button, or the API.
