Hi
1) You are supposed to be able to select a single control point. Can you tell me what Unity and Curvy versions you are using? Also do you have reproduction steps/project to share?
2) Control points are regular game objects, so the usual unity methods to get selection and events apply here too. Please look at the Selection class: https://docs.unity3d.com/ScriptReference/Selection.html
