Any performance 'hacks' for scene with lots of splines

I am working in a scene with a lot of spines. Hundreds. Anyone have any options or hacks to improve performance?

Feels like its all the gizmos adding up and Unity gizmos being slow in general, maybe there are options that can be disabled or tweaked to reduce editor lag?
