Using Curvy to achieve welding effect
#1
Hi

I would like to know if I will be able to achieve the welding effect (click on this Reference) using the Generator concept in Curvy.

The asset looks great btw and great work on support too!

Thank you.

Hi

Yes, you can do that using Curvy Generator. You can use the Scale tab of the Shape Extrusion module to make the shape's radius vary along the extrusion.

You can also use the Variable Mix Shape module to smoothly interpolate between two different shapes.

To create spline at runtime, you can get inspiration from the example scene 04_PaintSpline

Thanks a lot for the praise. If and when you feel like it, please leave a review for the asset, that helps a lot.

Have a nice day
