Spline walker not facing correct direction and orientation

So i looked throught the forum real quick and couldn't seem to find a solution.
what's happening is that i load in a prefab of a spline curve on it's creation my spline walker is suppose to move and rotate into the proper position. it moves correctly but the orientation does not change and when it flies around our world the spline walker does not face the correct direction. the only time it fixes itself is when i select the Curvy spline in the editor. Not sure what I'm missing.

the spline is initialized and i do call setrot and setpos for the my walker. so far it only walks along the path but no face the direction it's going.

Weird and I have to look into it, sounds like something not properly initialized. It is possible for you to export me a small repro scene (without Curvy)?
