Bending meshes along splines
#1
Hi!

I want to create rails using Curvy. I saw that in the sample scenes, a shape is being used to render the rails but if it's possible, I want to do it using a straight-piece of 3d rail as a template which Curvy takes as input and then bends whenever it needs to be bent (curves, hills).

How can I do that?

Thanks

Hi,
Interesting feature, but unfortunately Curvy does not have tools to modify 3d meshes not generated by it. So the solution I see using Curvy would be to reproduce the 3d rail's profile/section as a spline using Curvy, and then use that to generate the mesh the way you like it.
Did this help?
Please consider leaving a review for Curvy. This will help a lot keeping Curvy relevant in the eyes of the Asset Store algorithm.
