Twisted mesh at corner on linear path
I've got a requirement to use linear splines with 90 degree corners to generate a mesh.

I've set the Interpolation to linear, and the orientation to static. However, regardless of how I set the orientation of the control points, or the resolution I set on the extrusion, I get poor corners, often with twisting in the mesh.

Am I missing a crucial setting here, or are my expectations outside of the scope of the tool?
