Shared generator
#1
I don't know if there's something i missed, but it seems like you can't have a single generator applied to several splines.

Say I have a train track and I want a little part of it to animate. I'd split that from the static parts for performance reasons, but now I also have two generators; every time i need to change the way the track looks, i have to change both generators.

Is there any better way around this?

CG modules use the spline(s) you've set the moment the CG refreshs. Best practise is to disable AutoRefresh and write a script that sets the spline references and then refreshes the CG, then (optionally) calls CreateMesh.SaveToScene() to "detach" the generated meshes.
