Showing the Spline in Game

I am trying to figure out how to show the spline in game.

The tutorial shows

Shows at 15:42 the spline is invisible

then at time 
20:00

The spline is now visible in game. However I have watched it several times and only notice to changes in orientation.

If you play inside the editor, you can turn on gizmos to see the same visuals as in scene view. Otherwise there's a GL Draw component that - when attached to a camera - renders a spline using raw GL commands. That's particular useful for debugging.
