I made a feature where players can make axis straps, each axis that is installed requires a curvy spline on the object, when the player attaches the axis there will be a lag once when the object is installed then the lag is no longer, the problem is when the player installs again the axis will occur again in the game.
if the prefab that will be instantiated by the player does not have a curvy spline, lag will not occur.
I'm confused about how to solve this problem because if the prefab I want to instantiate doesn't have a curvy spline then the prefab doesn't work.

Hi
I recommend reading this page.
https://curvyeditor.com/documentation/performancetips/start
After doing so and and applying what's in there (including profiling), if the lag persists please let me know what is creating the lag and I might be able to solve the issue.
Have a nice day

i have managed this lag issue, i added the curvy spline component after i instantiate the prefab.
lag and fps drop is gone after I use this method.
the next problem is how do i change the default setting when curvy spline into object via script?
i want to change interpolation to linear as default

Hi
You can set the default interpolation in the Preferences window, by changing the value of Default Spline Type:
