Unable to create custom deform mesh
#1
I follow the tutorial to create a custom deform mesh. https://youtu.be/eP6QEn9SFoM

I create my own custom mesh using uModeller. I added the mesh to the Deform Mesh template and add my own mesh and material. I had to adjust the translation of the mesh because it is slightly off until the model is centered. Everything looks great. I click play and the mesh disappears. I stop play and my mesh is gone.

I get errors in the console: Not allowed to access vertices on mesh 'default' (isReadable is false; Read/Write must be enabled in import settings)

I get warnings on the Volume Spots module: Input object "default" has bounds with a depth of 0. The minimal accepted depth is 0.01. The depth value was overridden.

It's just strange to me how it was all working before hitting the play button.

Latest version of Unity: 2020.3.30f1

Hi

Based on the error message, you need to make your mesh Read/Write Enabled. Please refer to this Unity documentation page to know how to do it (search for "Read/Write Enabled")
https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/class-Mesh.html

If the issue persists, please let me know.

Have a nice day
Please consider leaving a review for Curvy, this helps immensely. Thank you.
