Split existing segment(s) with additional control points
#1
Is there a way to insert new control points into the middle of a spline?  Or possibly auto-split an existing spline or segment into a configurable number of segments?  I have a spline that I've created to represent a train track across a terrain, but I need more control points and would prefer not to add on the end and reposition all of the existing control points.

Thanks in advance!

Hi
You can use the Split tool
https://curvyeditor.com/documentation/toolbar/start?s[]=split#split
You can do so via the API too.
When adding a Control Point (CP for short) via the editor, the CP is added at the end if no CP was selected at the moment of adding the CP, otherwise it will be added after the selected CP
I hope this helped
Have a nice day
