Anyone familiar with prefabs API here? Your help is welcome

Hi guys
In order to enhance how the prefabs and generators interact with each other, I am trying to do some things with the prefabs API. I am struggling with things that should really be easy to do. If anyone of you can help, please check this thread I created:
