From your screenshots I can see that you are not using the latest Curvy version. The version you have has a lot of issues regarding the combined usage of spline controllers and connections.
As you can see it here https://curvyeditor.com/releasenotes the version 2.3.0 was mainly about fixing and enhancing controllers. So please upgrade first to 2.3.0, and then if you still have any issue post about it here and I will take a look at it.
