There is an issue indeed: the person at PlayMaker that does that puts the addon on the ecosystem removed some files from the latest release(s?). I will contact them to ask them to fix the issue. Until then:
1- Install the addon for 7 then, without deleting it, the addon for 8. This will fix the issue.
2- Please let me know if any other issue appears in the future, but if you are in a hurry, please check the repository of the addon where the issue might not appear (if it is an issue due to packaging):
