How can I remove one segment of the road that I made by spline?

I want to create a road that it has one segment that the road is removed.
It's like a road that cross the river, and in the river area I don't want the road to be exist.
The road is made by mesh(deformed). And I can change it to be objects.
Is it possible to do that?
