1- The spacing issue was due to the Space After of group 2 being set to 1.5 instead of 0.15 like it is in the example scene.
2- The lateral movement issue was due to the Use Volume's Surface setting being different between your volume spot module and the one from the example scene. It is normal that you did not detect this discrepancy because, unfortunately, and due to a bug, that property was not displayed in the module's UI. I found the issue thanks to your report, and I am working on a fix. I will keep you updated here.
