Extrude mesh along spline. New and confused user

Indeed, some of the videos are quite old, and their quality is lacking compared to newer ones. My goal is to produce more videos, occasionally revisiting old ones to create improved versions, but there are none planned for the very near future.

Regarding the other points, I first need to understand your use case. Are you working with an existing mesh of a road section that you want to deform along a curved spline, or are you looking to create the mesh from scratch using mesh extrusion?

I will checkout the global space

I am creating a new mesh, on top of a topographical image with heightmap, like google earth, to re-create the road

How do I remove the package from a project?  I don't see it in the package manager where I'd expect? Am I missing something simple?
